Mont SUTTON is opening this weekend November 24-25

The snow has been falling for several weeks already at Mont SUTTON and more intensely these last few days, the snow guns are in function and the mountain will be able to open 10 ski trails and two chairlifts for its first opening day of the 2018-2019 ski season this November 24, 2018.

The earliest opening of the last 10 years

Mont SUTTON is known to start the ski season early and close late. The mountain is whiter than ever for this time of the year and opening the ski trails on November 24 represents the earliest opening date of the last 10 years.

One of the snowiest season starts

With 68 cm of snow at the base of the mountain and 88 cm at the top, this season is one of the snowiest for this time of the year. The natural snow cover allows the opening of several ski trails in the beginner and intermediate sector of the mountain this weekend. Around 10 ski trails, two chairlifts and a section of the alpine touring trail will be open this Saturday. If Mother Nature keeps collaborating, and with the work of the snowmaking team, other sectors should open gradually during the following weekends.

Start of season schedule

The mountain will be open this Saturday and Sunday and and every weekend until December 9, then 7 days on 7 from December 15.

The Snow School will be taking registration, the mountain ski shop's team is there to help with questions for new equipment, and even the Mont SUTTON's restaurant and Bar Le Tucker will welcome customers with some surprises.
