Mont Bellevue
Mont Bellevue is a small community ski area located in the heart of the City of Sherbrooke, about 150 kilometers east of Montréal, a drive of just over an hour and a half to get there. The mountain offers great terrain for the beginner and intermediate skier. 11 trails are available serviced by a
Mont Bellevue also offers a few kilometers of trails for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing with equipment rentals possible for these activities through the rental shop. There are a couple of tubing runs as well serviced with a handle tow, and a skating rink is available behind the chalet. Hiking is also available during the winter months on marked trails.

The tubing area is situated alongside the chalet in its own section and consists of 2 runs, and a handle tow to pull you up to the top, or a walkway for those who like to walk up. Tickets for the tube area are available at the ticket windows outside where you get your lift tickets.
Unique Features
One truly unique feature to Mont Bellevue is the illuminated cross that sits atop of the mountain that towers over the lift operators building, and can be seen for miles around. When you arrive in Sherbrooke along the Autoroute, you will see it and all you have to do is follow your way there. The view at the top of the mountain is one that looks out over the city and Lac des Nations, a small lake located in the middle of town.
On Wednesday night it's Ladies Night when the ladies ski free for the evening. Friday is Polar Bear Night where you can ski for the evening for $7 and Saturday Night is Men's night where the men ski free for the evening.

Why visit Mont Bellevue?
Being that it is the smallest area around, and doesn't offer any Expert terrain, Mont Bellevue offers the beginner an excellent opportunity to practice their skills within a safe environment and not worry about being crowded doing it. The intermediate skier will also be satisfied here as well. It is a great area to go to after a day at work or to head to after supper for a couple of hours of skiing. It offers skiing at a very affordable price and you won't be breaking the bank doing so.
